If you have been regularly following the blog, you know by now that I am crushing on Chanel Oberlin in Fox’s “Scream Queens,” drama television show. I have had several posts, Scream Style Round II and Chanel Oberlin’s Style. I love her character’s fun, girly style and thought I would do my own little styling session to showcase a feature look. Moreover, I recently started working with top retailers in Atlanta, GA, to bring you all the BEST of the BEST in new trends and styles! I have had so much fun pulling looks with the ladies at these stores and Don Purcell, the Manager of Jeffrey in Phipps Plaza.
How did I envision this look and pull it off? I usually start with a key/primary piece in my mind…for this look, I knew I wanted a blush pink faux fur or feather vest. Next, it is a process of elimination…sometimes I will try on a few different dresses and variations of a look before I know for sure which direction I want to head. Also, if you have a dominant piece, such as this vest, just let it shine and don’t make it compete with a patterned dress. This look was so much FUN and I loved the way it turned out, many thanks to my retail partners in Atlanta!
Xxoo,
Anne
