Rooftop Terrace view of Midtown…from Hotel Indigo, Lower East Side, NYC
View from Mr. Purple rooftop bar at the Hotel Indigo, Lower East Side
The penthouse suite offered the most stunning views of both downtown & midtown NYC from the spacious corner balcony.
I had the most delicious vanilla bean latte at Ludlow Coffee Supply, which is just across the street from the hotel.
Strolling through Central Park & admiring the fall foliage was definitely a highlight of the trip. I have visited Central Park many times, but this was by far my favorite time of year to experience it.
Clinton St. Baking Company has the best brunch options, including the tastiest blueberry pancakes and latte’s. It is only a short walk from the Hotel Indigo, LES.
We had the chance to visit the 9-11 Museum, (not pictured) and I am so glad we made this decision. We had both seen the Ground Zero Memorial, but not the Museum…it was one of the most profound experiences and does such an amazing job by honoring victims and family members. The museum is about a 10-minute cab ride from the hotel.
Freeman’s Restaurant…another great brunch option within walking distance of the Hotel Indigo, LES. This restaurant is such a “hidden gem” and only a few blocks from the hotel. The food & service was excellent. Also, I like how it is located in this cute little alley off the main road.
I highly recommend the Hotel Indigo, Lower East Side for its prime location, amenities, and service. The rooftop bar offers stunning views of both Downtown & Midtown and it heats up at night with a young and fun crowd. I liked how we could easily walk to some of the best brunch spots, such as Clinton St. Baking Company and Freeman’s Restaurant.
It is a short cab ride to Central Park or the 9-11 Museum/Ground Zero. Located just one short block from the 2ND AVE/F-TRAIN subway station, the hotel is situated at the epicenter of the thriving Lower East Side, just a 30-minute ride from LaGuardia Airport and a 45-minute drive from both JFK Airport and Newark Airport.
