Thanks to all of my followers for supporting me in 2016. I could not keep doing this without you all! I sincerely appreciate every like, comment, and visit to my blog. I hope you all have a very happy New Year!
I love this post so much –it was finally feeling like spring outside and I scooped up some bright yellow tulips to pair with this popular J.Crew gingham skirt…see the full post here.
I really pride myself on being able to champion the classic American look. It was close to Memorial Day weekend and I wanted to go full out red, white and blue. This Loewe clutch makes the post…these handbags blew up in the spring and fall seasons. See the full post here.
You guys went crazy over this black Chloe “Hudson” bag. It was & still is very popular.
Summer 2016 was the “summer of ruffles.” Ruffles were literally everywhere and I did not mind a bit. They are fun, flirty, and so n0t-boring. See the full post here.
Color-blocking is an easy way to look fashion-forward without breaking the bank. This flowy maxi skirt was under $50 and I already owned this silk Tibi top from many years ago…see how good style lasts you!? Here is a similar flowy maxi and here is the post.
We only dream about the perfect lighting I had on this particular day. I cannot stress enough about lighting–it will make or break you! This dress is so fabulous…I love blue & white together and it made me feel like I was heading to a proper English tea party! See the full post here.
I was in pure accessories heaven here…Valentino Rock Stud Pumps & a Celine handbag. See the Full Post Here.
Gucci accessories were on F-I-R-E in 2016…big gold logos on handbags, shoes, belts…basically everywhere. Here is the link to this handbag and full post here.
One of the highlights of 2016 was getting my hair & makeup done by the ladies at Cucumber & Mint in Augusta, GA. I have thick hair, which is usually a pain, so I had a blast letting them work their magic! The day we took this photo, it was lightly snowing and very freezing outside, but the picture ended up getting featured on Like to Know It’s Instagram page, so hey, it was worth it! See the full post, here.
I like this picture because it shows what you can do to trick the lighting. It was an ugly, overcast winter day and we stood in front of the Cucumber & Mint bright white store-front. You would never know it by the weather forecast, but the pictures were a success! Plus, I loved my new David J Pliner fringe heels. See the full post here.
Everyone knows how much I love a good midi skirt; this pink one by Eliza J was my favorite. It was close to Valentine’s Day and I wanted to do something that honored the holiday! How freaking adorable is this mini Rebecca Minkoff bag!? Just adore it!!! See the full post here.
I was brave enough to wear OTK Boots and a mini skirt. Enough said. I had one of those moments where I was thinking…I may never be able to wear this again, so I’m just going to go for it! See the full post here.
Everyone asked me if I “photo-shopped” this picture and the answer is NO. I had airbrush makeup and eyelashes applied by the Cucumber & Mint ladies. I rarely have full hair & makeup done before a shoot, but I did this one time. How blonde was my hair here? I loved it, but it was too hard to keep up, so I ended up putting low lights back in a short time later (thanks to Nikki & Salon Duo)!!! See the full post here.
