We had the most fun Halloween weekend — loved seeing everyone’s kids dressed up in cute and creative costumes! Ginger Spice the pup wore her Halloween striped sweater and did not mind it for one second (haha)! I had just about the amount of candy and junk that I consume about every Halloween –an assortment of Swedish Fish gummies, Reece Peanut Butter Eggs, Sour Patch Kids, various cheese dips, and of course, seasonal beer and wine. I don’t hold back on holiday “cheat” days!
We had a very interesting time this weekend getting our outdoor television setup in our patio area. My husband was out of town for a week and I thought I would surprise him by getting the TV mounted while he was gone. I thought I was doing a good thing! So, I went and bought a TV, called up the electricians and had them come over to install and mount it on the brick wall outside our patio. They put it up and I was loving it – yay so great…haha not so great. It was WAY too big and my husband came home and was like, “oh my, what the heck did you do while I was gone!!?” Surprise, Surprise!
Needless to say, we had to call over buddies to help us dismantle the BEAST of a TV and take back to the store to exchange it for a smaller set; they said it looked like an episode of MTV Cribs and it had to go! This is what happens when I try to do anything “manly” in nature w/o my husband being present…oh well…the thought is what counts, right!? Another day in the life…sigh. Long-story short, we have the right-size TV outside now and enjoyed watching Georgia get beat, again.
Anyway, more on this FABulous blush pink coat from Vince. I found the coat, the Elizabeth & James jumpsuit (ON SALE now), and Tamara Mellon heels all at Tootsies, Atlanta, GA; the structured YSL Petite Handbag is from Jeffrey, Phipps Plaza, Atlanta, GA. Just in case you have never been into Tootsies, it is located in the Shops Around Lenox. The sunglasses are Tom Ford/Penelope and I found them at Luna Boutique, Shops Around Lenox. As per usual, I have included “Shop the Post” links for the exact items I am wearing in the post and for similar items that are more budget-friendly.
Rain, Rain, Go Away.
